Call to Worship - Psalm 138:1–3

I will give you thanks with all my heart; I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings.
I will bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your constant love and truth.
You have exalted your name and your promise above everything else.
On the day I called, you answered me; you increased strength within me.

Opening Hymn – Amazing Grace - #378

Unison Prayer

Dear Lord, out of Your great love for us you have provided for our needs. There is food for our tables, clothes to cover us, a roof over our heads and someone to love us. For these gifts we are grateful. Bless now, our tithes and offerings, we ask, so that they may be used to make disciples for Jesus Christ. Amen.

Opening Hymn – A Mighty Fortress Is Our God - #110

Unison Prayer

Mighty and everlasting God, you willingly equip us with the strength, the insight, and the courage to meet every challenge the world sends our way. Make us bold to live as Christ's disciples, when it seems like foolishness to many. May the gifts we offer to you, the lives we live for you, the witness we make for you, be a testimony to the love that led Christ to the cross, his precious life given for each of us. When we leave this worship service, may our living bear witness to your giving. In Jesus's holy name, we pray. Amen.

Loving God, source of all joy, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude. March 30, 2025

Call to Worship - Psalm 63:1–4

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Opening Hymn – How Great Thou Art - #77

Unison Prayer

Glorious God, our refuge and restorer, we bring these gifts as a sign of our return to you. Like the prodigal, we long to feel your embrace and live in the light of your grace. As we observe this holy time of Lent, may our offerings reflect hearts that are turning back to you. Clear the clogs in our lives that separate us from you and one another and help us see the rainbow of your promise even in our struggles. Bless these gifts and our lives so that we may share your steadfast love with the world. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.

Postlude - Blessed Assurance - #369

March 23, 2025

Call to Worship -  2 Peter 3:8-10

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

Opening Hymn – Spirit of the Living God - #393

Unison Prayer

Faithful God, our guide and sustainer, as we offer these gifts, may they bear fruit for your kingdom. In this solemn season of Lent, we remember your call to repentance and renewal. Help us tend the soil of our hearts so that we may grow in faith and bear witness to your grace. Use these offerings to bring hope to those in need and light to those in darkness. May we live as your fruitful servants, trusting in your abundant mercy.  In the name of Christ who calls us to new life, we pray. Amen.
